When you apply for your student visa you must provide a valid passport, recent photograph, and all the education documents (In English), and submit your application online via the UK Visas and Immigration website. Proof Of your English language, you must prove you can read, write, speak and understand English to at least level B1 on the Common European Framework of Reference for language (CEFR) scale. Graduate Immigration Route is a UK post-study work visa for international students. The launch of the route is planned to build on the UK government’s delivery of the new points-based immigration system, which began 0n 1 January 2021. This will allow international students who have been allotted their degree to reside in the UK and work or look for employment, at any skill level, it will apply to those who have successfully graduated from an undergraduate or master’s degree or have completed a Ph.D. Successful applicants will have permission to stay and work in the UK at any skill level for a maximum period of two years. Ph.D. graduates will be able to stay for three years. This route will be available to international students who graduate in the summer of 2021 and who meet the necessary criteria.
Whilst the route does not direct towards settlement, those individuals on the route will be able to move into another work-based route, for example, the skilled worker route-which does lead to settlement- after they fulfill the obligations. Those who apply from outside of the UK will be rejected and refused entry to the UK and could lose their entitlement to apply for the Graduate route as a whole. A valid student visa at the time of your application and successful completion of a degree at undergraduate level or above at a compliant Higher Education Provider will be required. You will need to start a new visa application; on top of the visa, you may already have. You will not be eligible if your visa expires before the Graduation Immigration Route is introduced.
